Technical Groups
Radar Science & Engineering (JPL's Section 334) is a dynamic and fast-paced organization featuring a staff of over 90 technical professionals. In addition to our full-time technical staff, we have distinguished faculty part-time research scientists and we regularly host a variety of visiting scientists, post-Docs, and summer students. We also employ contractors and academic part-time students to achieve our objectives.
The section is organized into eight technical groups, plus a management team and associated senior section staff and a business operations support group.
Four of our technical groups are organized by discipline and provide the products and capabilities required to support flight project implementation:
